She received her Master of Music degree in violin performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Beginning with violin at age 8, she had an early interest in playing all kinds of music, which led her to learn flute, baroque violin, and electric violin.

Throughout her career, she has performed at Walt Disney World Resort, Boston, MA, New Orleans, LA, Anaheim, CA, and even in Montreal, Canada. She also performs regularly in orchestral ensembles throughout the Central Illinois area.

Na’ilah’s favorite genres of music are metal, progressive rock and baroque classical music. Today, she enjoys composing music for electric string ensembles as well as singing. Her other hobbies include playing video games, painting, and napping.
